Velocity Brown, Papa Soul and Acoustic Angels - 23rd July, 1pm - 9pm

Sheffield's premier leisure destination, Leopold Square, will be hosting three more outstanding bands on Sunday 23rd July.

Between 1pm and 3pm, the hot sounds of Velocity Brown and the Hotrods will be filling the square. As one of the UK's most authentic 1950s bands, this local group will entertain the crowds in style with their original and high energy mix of Jive, Swing, Rock 'n Roll and R&B.

Performing between 4pm and 6pm, Papasoul returns for the second time this year, to entertain visitors with their original sound once again. This eight-piece band will be playing the finest grooves from the original era of soul including Otis Redding and Aretha Franklin then taking the sounds forward to the more modern vibes of Amy Winehouse and Paolo Nutini.

Then, for the first time this year, the Acoustic Angels will perform to the square from 7pm until 9pm.The soulful vocals of John Reilly will enchant and entertain with an eclectic mix of classic quality pop, soul, and Motown songs.
