Free live music continues in June and kicks-off with a Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebration when live music will be in The Square every day of the Bank Holiday weekend.
Rogue will be starting the celebrations on Thursday 2nd June by performing a repertoire of hits between 2pm and 4pm, before Salsa in the Square takes over at 5pm.
We will be holding a Big Swing Jubilee Event on Friday 3rd June when visitors are encouraged to bring their dancing shoes and wave their Union Jack flags.
Josie & The Majestics take over on Saturday 4th June. This Sheffield-based new funk, soul and pop band will be performing songs from the likes of Justin Timberlake, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Candi Staton and everyone in-between. Phil Johnson steps into the limelight to bring the weekend celebrations to a close by showcasing his vocal and keyboard skills on Sunday 6th June.
The summer of free live music continues the following weekend when two talented musicians from Sheffield will be entertaining visitors - Sophie Henderson on Saturday 11th and Ryan Taylor on Sunday 12th June.
Nicola Farnon's combination of sparkling jazz vocals and highly accomplished double bass playing is known to all Leopold Square regulars, and she returns on Saturday 18th June. Jeremy Sassoon is a well-established name on the UK jazz scene and will be live in The Square on Sunday 19th June.
Brand new to our music line-up is Blue Seven Jazz who will be entertaining visitors with cool jazz standards on Saturday 25th June. The ever-popular Emily Claire West brings the June live music schedule to a close on Sunday 26th June with soul and funk classics.
All live music takes place in Leopold Square between 2pm and 4.30pm, unless otherwise stated.
