Sheffield's only four-star boutique hotel, Leopold Hotel, is delighted to announce it has been shortlisted in the prestigious White Rose Awards, which aims to celebrate the very best in Yorkshire tourism.
The White Rose Awards are the largest celebration of tourism in the UK, covering 17 categories including Best Yorkshire Pub and Outstanding Customer Service. Leopold Hotel, situated in the upmarket leisure venue Leopold Square, has been shortlisted in the 'Large Hotel' section and will come up against five other competing establishments.
The independent judging panel will now complete a six weeks' mystery shop process followed by a challenging day of deliberation to decide the overall winners. Those shortlisted, including staff at Leopold Hotel, will get to attend a glamorous award ceremony at the end of the year, where they will find out who's triumphed.
Michael Skehan, General Manager at Leopold Hotel, commented:
"We are over the moon about being shortlisted – it's wonderful news. We pride ourselves on the quality of our rooms and customer service so it's fantastic to be recognised for it. We look forward to finding out the results later in the year - we all have our fingers crossed!"
