Our summer of live music comes to a close at the end of September, but not before some of the most talented musicians from the region and across the UK perform every Saturday and Sunday throughout the month.
Sought-after singer and guitarist, and one of Yorkshire's most stylish musicians, Danny Maddocks kicks things off on Sunday 1st September by mixing up blues, jazz and soul.
The ever-popular Phil Johnson will be entertaining visitors with jazz standards, gutsy blues and pop classics on Saturday 7th September, followed by the young and talented Sophie Henderson on Sunday 8th.
On Saturday 14th September Dizzy Club will be playing upbeat jazz and swing. Visitors will then be able to get their dancing shoes on when The Square regular Emily West performs on Sunday 15th September.
One of Sheffield's newest and most exciting jazz fusion projects, Flok, makes its Leopold Square debut on Saturday 21st September, and The Square favourite Ryan Taylor brings the grooves on Saturday 22nd.
The final weekend sees Charlotte Branson performing funk, blues, soul and the odd dance tune on Saturday 28th September. Then, one of the most authentic and slick rock'n'roll bands in the UK, Howlin' Ric & the Rocketeers (pictured) will bring Leopold Square's summer of live music to a close on Sunday 29th.
Our summer of live music programme has once again proved to be the best way to enjoy some of the most talented blues, soul, jazz and swing musicians the UK has to offer, and our September line-up doesn't disappoint.
We look forward to welcoming everyone along to see out the summer with us.
All live music takes place in Leopold Square between 2pm and 4.30pm. Further information about all acts can be found on the events page.
