On Saturday 28th July visitors to Leopold Square can expect a day filled with rainbow coloured entertainment as the venue is hosting a special event for Pride Sheffield and local LGBT+ charity SAYiT.
Organised and sponsored by The Botanist at Leopold Square, the fun starts from 12pm and the party is set to continue into the evening with something for everyone to enjoy.
With face painting and glitter artists for the little ones (or the big ones), Funkin' cocktail tasters, live music, great BBQ food, competitions and giveaways, games, and even a bartender battle - courtesy of ABSOLUT. - this is not a day to be missed.
Proceeds raised from the entertainment throughout the day will be donated to local LGBT+ charity SAYiT that provide practical support around LGBT+ life, sexual health, HIV and mental wellbeing for youngsters in Sheffield.
Alanna Cushman, from The Botanist Sheffield, said:
"We're so excited that Leopold Square is getting involved in the Pride Sheffield celebrations and hosting this event - it is set to be a great day.
"It has been so wonderful to work with everyone at Leopold Square to make this event a reality and support the wonderful charity SAYiT. The awareness and support work the charity offer for young people in Sheffield is vital. I hope that lots of people will come and celebrate with us, have fun and help us raise funds for such a worthwhile cause."
